Job Description

As a Senior Manager, you will be part of our Technology Partner Integration (TPI) team to help manage a team of techies who design, enhance, and build our integrations with different ecommerce platform and POS systems in an agile development environment. This will be a client/partner-facing and broad-reaching leadership role so organizational savvy, interpersonal and communication skills are critical as you will interface with all areas of Visa (sales, marketing, commercialization, legal, risk) and with leaders from some of our largest partners. You should be comfortable working and engaging in a matrix organization, exceedingly self-motivated with a proactive attitude, and an innately inquisitive nature.  We are looking for an individual that is a thought leader in payments with a proven track record of successfully managing teams in fast-paced environments with demanding timelines.

  Help drive alignment and champion decisions with your teams and across the organization as required

Work with vendors and partners to build, integrate, validate and deploy complete solutions for various ISV integrations

Serve as the point person for your product area to leadership and across the organization

·Formulate and evangelize integration strategy to internal and external stakeholders

Work with cross functional teams to ensure support for your integrations across the platform and partner ecosystem

Understand technical dependencies for the integrations you lead and bring disparate stakeholders together to launch your integrations

Design ways to integrate road-mapped features into existing partner integrations that cause minimal disruption in migrating customers to new versions

·Use data to make good decisions when confronted by ambiguity. Analyze KPI's to identify, size and prioritize areas for improvement. Develop regular reporting as needed

Drive completion of deliverables such as technical artifacts, solution guides and end solutions

Develop and maintain integration specifications working with the ISV teams

Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (e.g. support team, product, sales, architects, etc.) to further develop partner strategies and processes

 

 

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field and 8+ years of Software industry Experience or a Masters with 6+ years of Software industry Experience

Have at least 2 years of direct people management experience

Have built diverse teams to tackle challenging technical problems

·Managed technical partnership and integration with 3rd party (ISV) applications.

·Experienced in managing internal and external engineering resources to ensure on-time completion of project

Have  some payment processing knowledge and key technologies employed in e-commerce flow

Local/regional payment / regulatory system experience

Proven experience in managing large scale enterprise projects, gathering and communicating technical requirements

·Experience solving challenging engineering problems with multiple constraints

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
