We are looking for an extremely talented Senior or Lead Software Engineer to join our CI Infrastructure Team. You will be part of a global agile group that is responsible for developing, maintaining and scaling our Continuous Integration infrastructure and internal tools that all of our engineers rely on to get their job done. Simply put, this team is mission critical in our Engineering organization.
In addition to writing code in Go and Ruby, we work with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Teamcity, AWS, and Google App Engine to build and maintain our state of the art infrastructure that is able to run over 100k tests in under 30 minutes.
Being a hands-on contributor is a key responsibility in this roleBeing able to write clean, modular, scalable, and quality software is mandatory in this roleDesign, develop, maintain, and scale Coupas CI Infrastructure & Internal ToolsContinuously improve and expand our tooling to support our rapidly expanding platformWork directly with our engineering teams to provide support as neededActively participate in operational design and code review
Minimum of 5+ years of software development experience Expertise in one or more of the following languages: Ruby, Go, Java, Python, or C/C++Experience in designing and dealing with highly scalable systemsProficient in Linux command line and shell scriptingExperience with Docker or similar containerization platformExperience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, Redis, MongoDBCapable of leading technical design and direction of new features or projectsCapable of working efficiently and delivering on time without significant oversightExperience integrating and maintaining CI tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Go CD, TravisExperience working with Amazon AWS, EC2, or similar elastic cloud environmentsProficient with source code management systems such as Git and GithubExperience working on an agile environment that follows Scrum or other agile methodologiesExperience developing and deploying microservices
Open-source project contributionsExperience creating and/or working with auto-scaling systemsHave shown thought leadership via blog posts, publications, and/or conferences
