Manufacturing Engineering Manager|
This position provides leadership and direct people management for electrical engineering operations in support of instrument manufacturing at the Little Falls Site. As a part of the LFS Engineering and Technology Team, the electrical engineering manager will support material quality in supply chain operations, manufacturing processes/systems, as well as transfer of new products to manufacturing.
Oversee quality and value creation for electrical components, assemblies, production test, and systems performance.
Champion efficient and effective use of quality systems to meet compliance requirements and improve/simplify standard tools to responsively meet stakeholder requirements with improved focus for team members.
Lead and maintain team alignment and collaboration with site production, R&D, finance, logistics, and quality stakeholders to improve overall LFS inbound supply chain performance.
Work directly with Global Supply Chain managers to align the LFS team with strategies and initiatives of the global supply chain team.
Support the requirements from new product introduction activities including technical supply requirements, DFx reviews, and production implementation.
Lead changes to engineering assignments and work assignments to improve focus and results to the business.
Maintain an environment for continuous learning and development by fostering programs to develop systems and component level knowledge for all levels of the organization
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent plus directly relevant experience as a manager, supervisor and/or individual contributor.
Experience leading the execution of processes, projects and tactics.
Skilled in electrical engineering related to systems design, board design, schematics, PCA component knowledge, and manufacturing processes
5+ years of work experience, including leadership, project management, supplier collaborations, and operations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong work ethic and team player attributes for working in a collaborative environment
Strong solution engineering skills, demonstrating an ability to understand complex business processes and convert into innovative solutions
Advanced knowledge of procurement procedures for supply chain management, quality management and risk management.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP system.
